Every morning we have pretty much the same ritual - toddler wakes up, wanders into lounge to find us, crawls into bed with us (we are camped out in the lounge at the moment - don't ask, long story), then promptly asks for helicopters on iPad. But sometimes (because he likes to keep us on our toes) he'll ask (that's a polite term for what the reality is) for Mummy's iPad, and then he'll find all sorts of short videos I took of him over the last 28 months.
I took this picture at 7am this morning, blinds still down, in relative darkness. I know! It's all to do with the white balance, and cranking up the ISO - hence the graininess of the picture. The custom white balance was set using a photo image of a completely white photo I have saved (filled the entire screen).
It's not entirely in focus - hey, it was 7am! But I love it because it captures the mood of the moment.
