So I've just purchased a new lens for a camera that doesn't belong to me but I've "borrowed" indefinitely. I was debating whether to bite the bullet and purchase my very own DSLR, but when it came down to whether I wanted to spend $2000 on the camera of my choice plus a lens for the body (the camera I was drooling over doesn't even come with a kit lens) OR $389 for a 50mm f/1.8 - well, the rest is history.
I've decided to take on the challenge of a photography Project365 to learn and improve my skills. Since I've had my new 50mm lens I've been shooting in manual mode a lot, and I think it's important I record my settings during my Project365 as a reference, plus if I'm trying out new techniques I will need the information attached to the photos.
So, without further ado here is 1/365: poppy in the sand
apature priority, metering: center, 1/4000, f2, iso: 200, white balance: 5200K.
Love this photo! I'll prob end up saying that about the next 364 photos :P x
ReplyDeleteThanks, Michelle. It's easy to pull off a good shot with a nice lens. :-)
